By the time of this performance, Capitol Records was using multi-track stereo, and dispatched remote recorders to catch a powerhouse artist in a world-renowned venue, the Cocoanut.

Grove of Los Angeles’s famed Ambassador Hotel. The original album, released in 1959 deleted three songs but now, every moment is preserved including the overture and finale.
