In the late 1940s, Gene Kelly recorded a series of songs and stories for Columbia, all aimed at the young and young-at-heart. Many of these are here being reissued for the first. The winner of an honorary Academy Award in appreciation of his versatility as an actor, singer, director and dancer, Kelly starred in some of the most famous Hollywood musicals of all time, including Singin' in the Rain, On the Town and An American in Paris.
